We Support the Following Veterans Related Charities/Organizations
Perhaps the most endearing charity the Illinois CVMA® chapters support is the Middle East Conflicts Wall Memorial at Marseilles, IL. It is special to us as this memorial is dedicated specifically for the service men and women who have served in Middle East conflicts since 1967. We do not have a monument/memorial in Washington D.C. This is our monument. This we support!
This annual charity ride is conducted over Memorial Day weekend every year. Mark your calendars and join us in the next ride!

The Illinois Veterans Home at Anna is one of our favorite charities that we support here in Southern Illinois. In the past we have done “meet-and-greets”, coffee drives and annual Valentines Day “meet and party.” It is important that we remember our past veterans as we are losing more and more of them each day. Anna has veterans from the Korean war through the present, and several female veterans as well. We always have a good time every time we go. The Marion VA RRTP (Substance Abuse/PTSD) program is another charity that is dear to us. Many of us have lost servicemen and women due to suicides caused by PTSD or substance abuse. We raise funds for this program through our annual “Ride for the Fallen” all-donations ride. This has been very successful, allowing us to donate $5,500 to the program since it’s inception. But this isn’t the only support we provide our VA. We also do an annual meet-and-greet with their veterans’ home. We do a small bike show, provide hair cuts and have fellowship with our fellow veterans. If you are a veteran in crisis, call or visit the link above. Do not suffer silently.

HonorWreathsforVeterans.org is another charity we support through annual donations and placement of wreaths on the graves of veterans. Their mission is to honor, remember, assist with special needs and educate people about our veterans. Their purpose is to place wreaths on graves of U.S. veterans; maintain U.S. veteran cemetery plots; and other veterans charitable needs. We are honored to support their mission.
Mission South Central is the newest charity we are supporting. Their mission helps individuals and families in need within the South Central region. Our support comes when those in need are veterans. We have board membership, and support with monetary and labor. Here are a few pictures from our latest veteran support build.
